In The Aftermath Of Alleged Fictitious Investment Corruption, Taspen President Director Antonius Kosasih Was Removed

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir removed the President Director of PT Taspen (Persero), Antonius NS Kosasih.

This removal was in the aftermath of a case of alleged corruption in fictitious investments.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has raised cases of alleged corruption in Taspen 2019 fictitious investment activities to the investigation stage. Kosasih is also currently prevented from traveling abroad.

"Mr. Erick has taken steps so that we continue to support the cases that occurred at the KPK, so that the process is also good and good, Mr. Erick yesterday deactivated the Taspen President Director," said the staff of the Minister of SOEs, Arya Sinulingga to the media crew, Friday, March 8.

Currently, Arya said, the position of President Director of Taspen was replaced by Rony Hanityo Aprianto as Acting (Plt). Where Rony also serves as Investment Director of PT Taspen.

"And now the one who replaces the Acting is their Director of Cost Investment. So these are the steps we are taking so that what the KPK is doing can go well and all the steps to prepare the Taspen are going well," said Arya.

Previously reported, the KPK asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent two people from leaving the country regarding the corruption case at PT Taspen (Persero). One of them is the President Director of PT Taspen (Persero) Antonius N.S. Kosasih.

"It has been submitted to prevent two people consisting of state officials and private parties from being in Indonesian territory at the Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, March 8.

Ali did not explain who they were. However, the information gathered by Antonius was prevented by the President Director of PT Insight Investments Management, Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto.

"This preventive request is the first for the next six months until September 2024," said Ali.

Prevention can be extended according to the needs of investigators. These parties are expected to always be cooperative in fulfilling calls and examinations from the investigative team," he said.
