JAKARTA - The implementation of tariff adjustments on the Pasuruan Probolinggo (Paspro) Section Grati East Probolinggo and the application of new tariffs in the East Probolinggo Section Gending will begin tomorrow, Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 00.00 WIB.

This adjustment was made by PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) as a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk through its grandson PT Transjawa Paspro Toll Road (TPJT).

The Paspro Toll Road is here as part of the Trans Java Toll Road that connects Pasuruan to Probolinggo. With this increased connectivity, it is hoped that it can facilitate the distribution of goods, services as well as industrial and logistics activities in East Java. As well as being a positive catalyst in supporting the improvement of the local economy and being able to have a positive impact on the community's standard of living," said WTR President Director Danielmen Liman in Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 2.

Daniel said that with this tariff adjustment, it is hoped that it can support TPJT to improve the quality of toll services. So that the comfort and safety of toll road users when passing the Paspro toll road can be maintained.

The tariff adjustment and application of the new tariff were made based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 418/KPTS/M/2024. Previously, the East Probolinggo Section Gending had been operating without tariffs for more than 6 months since August 17, 2023, while the Grati Section East Probolinggo has been fully operational since 2019.

This new tariff adjustment and application of tariffs applies to all groups of vehicles at various rates, according to the objectives of road users.

With the tariff adjustment in the Grati East Probolinggo Section, toll road users with class I vehicles from Grati to Tongas, West Probolinggo and East Probolinggo will be charged a tariff of IDR 17,000, IDR 26,000 and IDR 40,000, respectively.

For toll road users with class II and III vehicles from the same origin and destination, they will be charged a fare of IDR 25,500, IDR 39,000 and IDR 60,000. Then, for toll road users with class IV and V vehicles, tariffs of IDR 34,000, IDR 52,500 and IDR 80,000 will be charged.

Meanwhile, with the application of the new tariff in the Probolinggo Timur Section Gending, toll road users using class I Grati vehicles to Gending are subject to a tariff of IDR 52,000. Toll road users in Group II & III with the same route will be subject to a new tariff of IDR 78,000 while Group IV & V is subject to a tariff of IDR 104,000.

With the official implementation of the Paspro toll road tariff adjustment, TPJT President Director Mulya Setiawan is committed to always maintaining and improving the quality of the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) that have been set for the convenience and safety of toll road users.

In the future, we will add type A Rest and Service (TIP') at KM 844A and KM 844B with facilities such as toilets, prayer rooms, minimarkets/markets, MSME outlets, parking lots and gas stations. It is hoped that with the increase in TIP owned by TPJT, road users will feel more comfortable and safe when passing through the Paspro toll road and with MSME outlets can improve the economy around toll roads," concluded Mulya.
