PHR Collaborates With Pertamina Drilling To Conduct Integrated Drilling

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) Regional Sumatra seeks to increase oil and gas production by conducting integrated drilling to present quality, efficient, reliable and safe oil wells.

This effort was made through the signing of an Integrated Drilling, Engineering, Supervisory and Services (IDESS) collaboration between Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) and Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (Pertamina Drilling).

This collaboration is part of an effort to provide the best performance for PHR operational activities, especially drilling which is a priority in the Rokan Working Area (WK).

PHR President Director Ruby Mulyawan said PHR manages a wide, potential and support for cooperation from trusted partners. As one of the largest crude oil producers in Indonesia, WK Rokan must be managed professionally, so that growth can continue to be achieved.

"Today's signing of cooperation is a significant momentum. Through synergy and collaboration between Pertamina's subsidiaries, namely PHR and Pertamina Drilling, together we present Integrated Drilling, Engineering, Supervisory and Services (IDSESS). For the Driling and Completion PHR team, this contract is expected to be an important part in order to improve its ability to present quality wells safely and efficiently," Ruby said in a statement to the media, Tuesday, February 27.

Ruby explained, this collaboration includes drilling services for 8 years, consisting of 4 Driling Rig 550HP units, 2 Rig750 HP Drilling Units including other related resources.

With the IDESS, it is hoped that Pertamina Drilling can improve its capabilities by conducting reliable and prudent project management, investment in new rigs and other service devices to support PHR in achieving production targets.

"Let's support efforts to provide the best for operational activities, especially drilling which is a priority for PHR WK Rokan. The target in 2024 is 167 MBOPD with 500 drilling wells," Ruby added.

Ruby added, Pertamina Drilling is an affiliate of Pertamina Hulu Energi as a competent Upstream Subholding in drilling services and provides high-quality integrated solutions in accelerating energy sustainability.

"Through this collaboration, we believe that IDESS can produce good results," Ruby said.

Pertamina Drilling President Director Avep Disasmita welcomed this collaboration. According to him, with the IDESS, it can support PHR's efforts in achieving production targets. He also emphasized that he is ready to provide the best performance that is reliable and secure.
