Jakarta-Cikampek And MBZ Toll Tariffs Will Rise Soon, This Is What Jasa Marga Says

JAKARTA - The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Tariff and the Mohamed bin Zayed (MBZ) Flyover will soon go up.

VP Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Ria Marlinda Paallo said the tariff increase was in accordance with the Toll Road Minimum Service Standard (SPM).

"As an effort to ensure the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) in maintaining and increasing the level of toll road services and to create a conducive toll road business investment climate, in the near future an adjustment will be applied to the integration rate of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the Mohamed Bin Zayed Flyover Road," Ria said as quoted from Jasa Marga's official website, Tuesday, February 20.

Ria added that the tariff adjustment was based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 250 / KPTS / M / 2024 dated February 2, 2024 concerning Adjustment of Integration Tariffs on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the Jakarta-Cikampek II Elevated Toll Road.

"In order to maintain the consistency of the smooth traffic flow scheme on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and MBZ Flyover, we continue to strive to improve its performance by improving the quality of operational services and toll road maintenance," he said.

Since the integrability of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and MBZ Flyover in January 2021, the existence of the toll road has been able to reduce the traffic density burden on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

The capacity of the toll road lane connecting the City of Jakarta and the West Java Region has also increased by two - (2) lanes for the contribution of the MBZ Flyover, starting from KM 10 to KM 48 in both directions.

"This integration scheme can speed up travel times for road users, both short distance and long distance destinations," he said.

PT JTT together with PT JJC continue to improve their performance by improving the quality of operational services and toll road maintenance.

To improve the travel convenience for users of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, PT JTT has increased the capacity of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road from KM 50 to KM 67 lane A or Cikampek and KM 62 to KM 50 lane B or towards Jakarta.

PT JTT itself has maximized the increase in toll road capacity from 3 lanes to 4 lanes along 18.2 kilometers (km).

The location for this capacity increase was chosen to unravel the density of vehicles after KM 48 towards Cikampek due to the meeting of two vehicle traffic flows from the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the Mohamed Bin Zayed Flyover.
