Erick Thohir Targets Mekaar PNM To Reach 20 Million Customers

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir revealed that the number of PMN Mekaar customers has now reached 15 million. Furthermore, Erick said increasing the target to 20 million.

Furthermore, Erick said that the target of 20 million PNM Mekaar customers is also in accordance with the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"The essence of this event wants to ensure that the 15 million target has been achieved. But I am with the board of directors and according to the direction of the President, if possible, the Mekaar PNM number is 20 million," he said at the Celebration of 15 Million Ultra Micro Customers, at the Jakarta International Velodrome, Monday, February 12.

Erick said to achieve this target, the Ministry of SOEs and Ultra Micro Holding will create a new cycle. The cycle will be discussed within 2 months.

"So, our 20 million will be calculated with a new cycle that might give us maybe 1-2 months to discuss, then we bciara for example in 2000 how much is 20 million," he said.

Even so, Erick admitted that he was optimistic that the target of 20 million customers could be achieved. The reason, said Erick, is that the target of 15 million customers can be reached 8 months earlier than the deadline.

Previously, the President Director of PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM), Arief Mulyadi, said that so far there have been 15 million active customers of the Mekaar program. He said, this figure is part of 37 million Ultra Micro Holding customers.

"As of today, there are 15 million active customers of PNM Mekaar, part of 37 million Ultra Micro Holding customers," said Arief.
