JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has imposed restrictions on the operational transportation of goods on some of its toll roads during the long holidays of Isra Mikraj and Chinese New Year 2024.

In the traffic regulation contained in the SKB, a number of efforts were made, such as restrictions on the operational transportation of goods to heavy cargo cars that were allowed (JBI) of more than 14,000 kilograms (kg), goods cars with three or more axes, goods cars with attached trains, goods cars with truncation trains and goods cars for transportation, be it land, sand, stone, mining or building materials and the determination of the contra flow system.
Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said that her party was doing this to ensure the safety, security, order, and smooth traffic as well as road and crossing transportation.

Lisye added that on the first day of restriction on goods transportation, the number of goods transport vehicles decreased by 30 percent compared to normal days.
