Acer Manufacturing Indonesia Continues To Encourage Innovation And Focuses More On Sustainability

Acer Manufacturing Indonesia (AMI), Acer's production facility in Indonesia, commemorates 12 years of working for the nation. Present in Indonesia since January 2012 as a form of Acer's commitment to providing the best products and services, AMI has a good track record of companies with significant growth. Through AMI, Acer has also established a position as a global company that has a commitment to supporting the national industry by encouraging the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) to meet the domestic market. Acer reached BMP and TKDN with a value of more than 40 percent, through a series of complete products: Chromebook Acer with TKDN recorded at 41 percent, Windows laptop, namely Acer TravelMate P414 with TKDN reaching 43.88 percent, desktop, namely Acer Veriton M with TKDN content reaching 43.50 percent, and mini PC with TKDN contribution to products reaching 41.45 percent. In an effort to ensure consistency in the quality and operating standards that are running, AMI has implemented ISO 9001: 2015 certification for Quality and Quality Improvement; ISO 14001: 2015 for Environmental Management Systems; and ISO 45001: 2018 for Work Safety and Health Management. With all these certifications, AMI guarantees production processes that run according to national and international standards.

This achievement makes Acer one of the leading ICT companies in presenting innovations that contribute more to research and development of information technology products (IT) which continue to produce new and complete works in the evolution of global technology trends.
