JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) recorded a total third party fund (DPK) up 6.0 percent yoy reached IDR 1,102 trillion. The increase in the DPK set pushed the total increase in BCA assets by 7.1 percent yoy to IDR 1,408 trillion.

President Director of BCA, Jahja Setiaatmadja said, the current account saving account (CASA) contributed around 80 percent of the total DPK.

"BCA is making continuous investments to strengthen the hybrid banking ecosystem, from mobile channels and internet banking, point of sales, branch offices, ATMs, to contact centers," said Jahja in a press conference held online, Thursday, January 25.

Jahja said this strategic investment was made to provide quality services for various types of segments and customer needs.

In 2023, the total volume of transactions processed by BCA will increase by 25.1 percent yoy to reach 30.1 billion transactions.

Regarding myBCA which was prepared to become an integrated service application for the future, throughout 2023, BCA has added a number of features to improve customer transaction convenience.

Most recently, the myBCA application has been equipped with a foreign exchange feature to other banks, vehicle tax payments, e-SIM package purchases, financial records and transaction notifications, QRIS fund source settings, to QRIS Customer Presented Mode features," concluded Jahja.
