HRTA Partners With India As New Export Partner

JAKARTA - PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA), a gold jewelry and gold bullion manufacturing company signed a cooperation agreement with RKD Solutions (RKDS) on January 17, 2024.

The cooperation to export gold jewelry to India is timed from January 17, 2024 December 31, 2024. RKDS ordered 160 kg of gold jewelry per month or a total order of 1.92 tons which will be fulfilled within the period of the work contract.

The transaction value is estimated at 113.51 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp1.77 trillion. HRTA President Director Sandra Sunanto is optimistic that the addition of export partners can further increase HRTA's business growth in 2024.

"RKDS has become a material 4th export partner in HRTA's export business journey, which proves the trust of partners in the Company's business reputation in the international market," Sandra said as quoted on Sunday, January 21.

Managing Partner of RKDS, Juli Kolawar also conveyed his commitment to be able to support HRTA in developing the Company's export business expansion. RKDS has expertise in export-import activities from countries in ASEAN, South Korea, Ghana and Peru.

He also added that RKDS has been a pioneer in the export activities of gold jewelry from Indonesia to India since 2014.

Exports of gold jewelry provide added value for Indonesian gold commodities that can encourage an increase in the contribution of state revenue. With the strategic achievements made by the Company, HRTA is increasingly strengthening its position as the most integrated gold and gold bullion jewelry Company from the intermediate industry (midstream) to downstream industries in Indonesia.
