Minister Of Energy And Mineral Resources: Just Salurkan 342,000 Rice Cookers

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) reports that it has distributed 342,000 electrical cooking utensils (AML) or rice cookers by the end of 2023.

Indeed, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources targets the distribution of 500,000 rice cookers in 2023. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif ensured that the shortage would continue in 2024.

"Of the 500,000 realized 342,000, but in 2024 we will recover so that the response is quite large," said Arifin at the 2023 ESDM Sector Achievement Press Conference and Work Program in 2024, at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Monday, January 15.

Arifn said that the distribution in 2023 did not reach the target because the program was only started in October 2023 so that there was a limited time in running the program.

However, he ensured that he had worked optimally so that the program targeted proper recipients.

"The new October electric cooking utensil program opened and in a short time we have made the best possible efforts," continued Arifin.

As a derivative, Technical Guidelines for the Provision of Electricity-Based Cooking Equipment (AML) have also been also been issued through the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 548.K/TL.04/DJL.3/2023.
