Looking For Jakarta-Surabaya High-speed Train Consultants, KCIC Prepares IDR 27.52 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) is looking for a consultant for the preparation of a feasibility study for the Jakarta-Surabaya High Speed Rail (KCJS) project. The value of the procurement offered is IDR 27.52 billion.

The search for this consultant was announced directly by PT KCIC through the official KCIC website. The tender announcement letter was signed by the Procurement Manager Haryono Mintarto on January 3, 2024.

"PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (PT KCIC) will carry out an Open Tender for Consultant Services for the Preparation of Feasibility Studies (Analysis of Requests and Initial Technical and Design Studies) for the Extension of the Jakarta Surabaya High Speed Train (KCJS)," the tender singer reads, quoted Thursday, January 11.

The procurement value is IDR 27,526,720,725, excluding VAT. The implementation period is 7 calendar months," the management wrote.

In the letter, it was explained that there were five main requirements for the consultants who wanted to register. First, participants are national companies with Limited Company Legal Entities (PT).

Second, foreign companies in collaboration with national companies, as evidenced by a cooperation agreement.

"A letter of interest was signed by the Company Leadership as stated in the Corporate Establishment Notary Deed, and/or Representatives who received Power from the Company Leadership accompanied by a Power of Attorney with a stamp of Rp. 10,000," wrote the third requirement.

Fourth, participants who have registered and received documents, if they do not attend the explanation meeting. If they are not present, they are considered to agree/know the things set out in the explanation report.

Fifth, participants are required to attach legality such as establishment, financial legality, and legality of business licenses.

However, this tender ended on Tuesday, January 9. The announcement of the search for the consultant tender is also no longer on the official KCIC website.

Still referring to the announcement letter, prospective participants who have registered and received as participants, the submission of the procurement documents will be carried out on January 10, 2024.

Based on the schedule, today an explanation meeting will be held with the participants who have registered. Meanwhile, clarification and negotiations will be held on January 30, 2024.

Regarding the procurement of this tender for the Jakarta Surabaya High Speed Train (KCJS) consultant, VOI has contacted the General Manager of the KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa. However, the person concerned has not answered until this news airs.
