BCA Increases Limit Transfer Transactions Of Up To IDR 100 Million Per Day

JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) or BCA has increased the daily transaction limit on almost all types of customer debit cards as of January 19, 2024.

BCA's EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility, Hera F. Haryn said, an increase in the daily transaction limit can be enjoyed by customers who own the BCA Xpres Stage Card, BCA Silver / Blue Debit, Platinum, and Gold as well as the Presidential and BCA Dollar.

Hera added that this service improvement applies to various types of transactions, such as cash withdrawals, transfers between BCA accounts, interbank transfers, and debit transactions.

Adjustments to this daily transaction limit are expected to make customers more flexible and smooth in transactions to meet their various needs.

"BCA is committed to always providing services and products that facilitate customer activities. We are increasing the daily transaction limit in line with the increasing needs of customers for various transaction services. Now, customers don't have to worry if they want to transact in a larger value using various types of BCA debit cards," said Hera in his statement on Saturday, January 6.

One example of an increase in the daily transaction limit can be seen from the BCA Xpresis Stage card.

The owner of the BCA Xpresi Stage card can make cash withdrawal transactions of up to IDR 10 million per day, from the previous IDR 7 million per day.

In addition, this card holder can also transfer fellow BCA accounts of up to IDR 50 million per day, from the previous IDR 25 million per day.

Then, the owner of the Debit BCA Silver/Blue card, cash withdrawal transactions can now be made up to IDR 15 million per day, from the previous IDR 10 million per day.

Users of this card can also make transfers between BCA accounts of up to Rp. 100 million per day from the previous Rp. 50 million per day, while for interbank transfers now with a limit of Rp. 30 million per day from the previous Rp. 15 million per day.

The adjustment of transaction limits allows customers of various BCA debit cards to make transactions more easily every day. For example, the purchase of goods using debit cards can now be made up to a limit of IDR 50 million to IDR 150 million per day, according to the type of card owned by the customer," he explained.

Hera said, as a national banking institution, BCA always makes customers the focus of attention from the products and services offered.

This philosophy also underlies BCA to increase transaction limits on various debit cards.

It was recorded that until September 2023, the number of BCA debit cards reached 34.4 million, an increase of 18.6 percent year on year (yoy).

The transaction value of BCA debit cards also grew to reach Rp1,814 trillion.

In addition, BCA increased monthly administrative costs for the Xpres Stage account as of January 19, 2024, from IDR 7,500 to IDR 10,000 per month.

In contrast to the applicable transaction limit adjustment to almost all types of debit cards, this change in administrative costs only applies to the Xpres Stage account. "BCA does not change the administrative costs for other types of cards," said Hera.
