As A Result Of The Train Accident In Cicalengka, 9 Train Trips Canceled And 10 Trips Around

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) said, there were eight (8) trips that were canceled due to the Turangga Train (KA) connection between Surabaya Gubeng-Bandung and Commuterline Bandung Raya at km 181+700 plots of roads between Haurpugur Station-Cicalengka Station this morning.

"As an effort to provide affected train services, KAI has canceled a number of trains and turned the train across," said VP of Public Relations of KAI Joni Martinus in a written statement, Friday, January 5.

Joni added, for delays in intercity train departures for more than 1 hour, passengers can cancel tickets and get refunds for all ticket fees.

"If you don't cancel the ticket, passengers are given light drinks for delays for more than 1 hour and given drinks and heavy food for delays for more than 3 hours," he said.

In addition, said Joni, his party will provide compensation to passengers affected by this accident, which is in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation (Permenhub) Number 63 of 2019 concerning Minimum Service Standards for People's Transportation by Train.

"KAI is committed to evaluating to carry out coaching and coordination with regional heads of operations and regional divisions to improve the safety of train travel in the future," he added.

1. KA 92 (Lodaya) cross Bd-Kya (SF 10 Train);

2. KA 6 (Argo Wilis) cross Bd-Kya (SF 10 Train);

3. KA 182 (Baturraden Express) cross Bd-Kya (SF 8 Train);

4. KA 181 (Baturraden Express) cross Kya-Pwt (SF 8 Train);

5. KA 250 (Serayu) across Pwt-Kya (SF 7 Train);

6. KA 251 (Seryu) cross Kya-Bd-Ckp (SF 7 Train);

7. KA 252 (Serayu) cross Ckp-Kya (SF 7 Train);

8. KA 249 (Seryu) cross Kya-Pwt (SF 7 Train);

9. KA 240 (Pasundan) across Kac-Kya (SF 8 Train).
