Christmas Holiday 2023 After, 551,152 Vehicles Return To Jabotabek

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk noted, as many as 551,152 vehicles returned to the Jabotabek area on Monday, December 25 to Wednesday, December 27.

The total volume of traffic (traffic) returning to the Jabotabek area increased by 38.31 percent compared to normal traffic of 398,476 vehicles in the same period.

"When compared to the Christmas 2022 period, the total volume of this traffic increased by 11.62 percent or as many as 493,764 vehicles," Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said in a written statement, quoted on Friday, December 29.

A total of 551,152 vehicles are the cumulative numbers of traffic flow from four barrier / main toll gates, namely GT Cikupa (from the direction of Merak), GT Ciawi (from the direction of Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (from the direction of Trans Java) and GT Kalihurip Utama (from the direction of Bandung).

Lisye said, traffic returned to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road reached 135,039 vehicles or an increase of 68.27 percent from normal traffic.

Next, traffic returned to Jabotabek from the direction of Bandung via the Main Kalihurip GT of the Cipularang Toll Road was recorded at 138,725 vehicles, an increase of 59.31 percent from normal traffic.

"Total lalin kembali ke Jabotabek dari arah Trans Jawa dan Bandung melalui kedua GT tersebut sebanyak 273.764 kendaraan atau meningkat sebesar 63,61 persen dari lalin normal," ujarnya.

Then, the traffic returning to Jabotabek from Merak via the Cikupa GT Tangerang-Merak Toll Road reached 148,189 vehicles or an increase of 7.38 percent from normal traffic.

"Meanwhile, the number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek from Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 129,199 Tau vehicles an increase of 38.70 percent from normal traffic," he said.

Jasa Marga urges toll road users to anticipate the journey of the 2024 New Year holiday period well.
