JAKARTA - KAI President Director Didiek Hartantyo spoke about the plan to add a quick train station

He said, this plan was only a discourse.

Moreover, continued Didiek, there has been no study from the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) as the intators who take care of this high-speed train.

"We'll just have to wait, this is just an issue from Mr. KSP (Moeldoko). The Ministry of Transportation and BUMN has not yet responded. We are waiting for the review of the men above first," he told reporters, in Manggari, Jakarta, Thursday, December 28.

When asked whether his party agreed with the plan to add this station, Didiek did not answer clearly whether he agreed or rejected the plan.

Even so, Didiek said that for the size of the high-speed train, the station should not be arranged closely.

This needs to be done so that the speed of the drag which reaches 350 km per hour is maintained properly.

"Now this is it, the speed of the fast train is 350 km per hour, to achieve speed it requires optimal distance. Please manage it by governance later, so that the train operates quickly, the station, if possible, don't get too close," he said.

Didiek also said that this run-up train should not be equated with the Jabodetabek KRL.

The reason is, the Jabodetabek KRL stops every 2 km and has a much lower travel speed than the bettersh high-speed train.

"It's different from KRL, 2 kilometers stop, 2 kilometers stop at 80 km per hour," he said.

In fact, Didiek said that from Jakarta to Padalarang there should be no more stop stations so that the speed can be optimal.

As is known, the airway train has four stop stations, namely Staisun Halim, Staisun Karawang, Padalarang Station and Staisun Tegalluar. However, until now Karawang Station has not been operating.

"But if 350 km per hour takes a long distance, for example Jakarta-Bandung, Padalarang 100 km, if you stop at Karawang 350 you don't achieve it, the value of the high-speed train won't be obtained," he said.
