JCI Has The Opportunity To Pursue Level 7,262 Today, What Are The Stock Options?

JAKARTA - The movement of the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) has the opportunity to pursue the level of 7,262 in today's trading, Wednesday, December 27. So, what are the stock options?

Yugen Bertumbuh Sekuritas CEO William Surya Wijaya said, JCI through a short week which is the last week at the end of 2023, where there is also a chance of a reasonable correction.

"This of course can be used by investors to accumulate purchases with the hope of capital gains until next year," he said in research.

The maintenance of the economic fundamental that can be seen from the economic data that has been reported will still be one of the interesting factors for investors to continue investing in the Indonesian capital market.

William predicts that today the JCI will move in the range of 7,123-7,262. The recommendations for the choice of shares are SMGR, BBNI, BBRI, JSMR, ITMG, BSDE, TLKM, and AKRA.

For information, the JCI a week ago was marked by an increase, even breaking the record for the highest closing of 2023. Pharmaceutical stocks soared along with the increase in COVID-19 cases, while BBCA-BBRI bank shares became the most transactions.

Data on the trading of shares in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 18 to 22 December 2023 was marked by an increase in market capitalization and the JCI. The market capitalization last week rose 0.97 percent to Rp11.65 trillion from Rp11.54 trillion in the previous week.

"JCI closed up 0.65 percent to 7,237,519 from 7,190,988 at the close of the previous week," said Acting Corporate Secretary of IDX Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad.

The average daily transaction frequency of shares during the week rose 13.60 percent to 1,094,283 transactions from 1,266,561 transactions. However, the average daily transaction value of shares fell 15.76 percent to Rp12.63 trillion from the previous Rp14.99 trillion.
