The award was handed over directly by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin to PGN President Director Arief Setiawan Handoko at the Bidakara Hotel Bidakara Beerawa Assembly Hall, Jakarta, Thursday, December 20. PGN together with its subsidiaries brought 3 Gold PROPERs and 6 Green PROPERs as follows:

The implementation of this PROPER is in line with Pertamina's Subholding Gas commitment to improve beyond compliance performance in the field of Environment and Social Responsibility through a company program that is able to realize community independence and proactive environmental management.

One of the Gold PROPER Awards was won by PGN Compresor Pagardewa through the TANI TAMPAN MAS social innovation program (Mandiri Alert Farmers Resilient and Mapan). This program has succeeded in encouraging the progress of the rubber farming of the people of Pagar Dewa Village, Muara Enim, South Sumatra.

The Mas Tani Tampan program helps the community find progress solutions for rubber farmers in Pagar Dewa Village through various activities. Rubber plantations in Pagar Dewa Village are 4,500 hectares out of a total of 7,520 hectares and 71 percent of its residents depend on rubber plantations. There are obstacles experienced by rubber farmers are in meeting fertilizer needs, limitations in managing the nursery and manufacture of organic fertilizers specifically for rubber. PGN formed the Farmers' Cooperative of Padetra Artomulyo in order to provide fertilizers at affordable prices.

Simultaneously, various other programs have been implemented to support the empowerment of rubber farmers, including training on the manufacture of organic fertilizers accompanied by rubber breeding training by utilizing superior varieties from Sembawa, Musi Banyuasin, Tabula Madu Lebah Klanceng, and fire fighting training with the management of Lake Kemiri water sources in anticipation of forest and land fires around Pagardewa Village.
