Mahfud MD's Answer About No Investors In IKN, Gibran: There Are Already Mayapada And Agung Sedayu

Vice Presidential Candidate Number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka responded to the statement of Vice Presidential Candidate number 3, Mahfud MD regarding the absence of any investors investing in the State Capital (IKN).

Mahfud responded to a Gibran statement that the IKN development only utilized 20 percent of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) while the rest came from private investment.

"So far from what we have read so far, no one investor has been there. If there are mentioned, one or two investors have entered there. What I heard is that hundreds of thousands of hectares of land have been controlled by certain entrepreneurs," said Mahfud.

Gibran responded to this statement again by asking Mahfud to find the latest information on Google's search engine regarding investors who have invested in IKN.

"And to respond to Prof Mahfud, maybe after returning from the debate, many can enter Google, Mayapada, Agung Sedayu," said Gibran.

Gibran said it is possible that investors will continue to grow after the election of the President and Vice President which will take place on February 14, 2024.

The reason, he said, was as an entrepreneur, many investors were still taking wait and see steps.

"And later it will add more, maybe after the presidential election because they will definitely wait and see the political stability in Indonesia. Thank you, Prof," concluded Gibran.
