Vice Presidential Candidate Number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka has 4 moves to open 19 million jobs in Indonesia if he is elected Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. Gibran said that Indonesia as a big country must be able to get out of the middle income trap.

"The key is to increase the added value in the country, In the midst of the onslaught of recession, trade wars, geopolitical conflicts, the average economic growth of our country remains resilient at 5 percent," Gibran said in the Debat of the Vice Presidential Candidate, Friday, December 22.

He added that quality economic growth was also supported by a decrease in the unemployment rate, poverty and controlled inflation rate.

"We will continue to clarify, not just downstream mining. Agriculture, fisheries, digital and others," added Gibran.

Not only that, he said, himself and Prabowo will continue to distribute development that is not Javancentric.

"We encourage the creative economy and MSMEs, we have 64 million MSMEs which contribute 61 percent of GDP. If we do these 4 steps, God willing, 19 million jobs will be open," continued two.

He further added that equitable development must also be carried out. He explained, based on the data held, currently investment outside Java has reached 53 percent.

"The sustainable development of IKN will open new economic growth points," he said.

According to him, IKN will open access and connectivity as well as create jobs.

"IKN is not only building government buildings but as a symbol of equitable development in Indonesia and as a symbol of the transformation of Indonesia's development," he concluded.
