"During the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays, there will also be restrictions on the operation of goods transportation on toll roads managed by Jasa Marga," Jasa Marga said in an official statement quoted from its official Instagram page @official.jasamarga, Monday, December 18.
The operational restrictions on the transportation of goods are based on a Joint Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation, Kakorlantas Polri, and the Director General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR on December 5 regarding Road Traffic Regulation and Crossing during the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year Flow Periods.
"This is done to support the smooth distribution of travel traffic later. Schedules and implementation can change following the police discretion," added Jasa Marga's statement.
The time provisions for regulating the operational restrictions on goods transport traffic are as follows:
1. During the Christmas homecoming flow, operational restrictions on goods transportation will take effect on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 00.00 WIB to Sunday, December 24, 2023, at 24.00 WIB.
2. During the return flow of Christmas, operational restrictions on goods transportation will take effect on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 00.00 WIB until Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 08.00 WIB.
3. During the New Year's homecoming flow, operational restrictions on goods transportation will take effect on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 00.00 WIB until Sunday, December 30, 2023 at 24.00 WIB.
4. When the New Year's return flow, operational restrictions on goods transportation will take effect on Monday, January 1, 2024 at 00.00 WIB until Tuesday, January 2 at 08.00 WIB.
The operational restrictions on the transportation of goods apply to a number of Jasa Marga Group toll roads, such as the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sedyatmo, Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR), Dalam City (Cawang-Tomang-Pluit), Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi (Jagorawi), Jakarta-Cikampek, and South Jakarta-Cikampek II (functional).
Next, there are Cipularang Toll Road, Padaleunyi, Palimanan-Kanci, Batang-Semarang, Semarang Sections A, B, C, Semarang-Solo, and Solo-Ngawi.
Then, the Yogyakarta-Solo (functional), Ngawi-Kertosono, Mojokerto-Surabaya, Surabaya-Gempol, Gempol-Pasuruan, and Pandaan-Malang toll roads.
