Make Transactions Easier, Bank Mandiri Presents The Tap To Pay Feature In Livin'

JAKARTA - Increasingly active in developing financial services by strengthening innovation through the Livin' by Mandiri super app, Bank Mandiri presents the first feature in the country that makes it easier for customers to use payment options for faster transactions called Tap to Pay.

"Now this payment is just tap on using Tap to Pay. In just seconds, the direct payment process works without waiting long, you can immediately bring groceries or necessities that you buy. Hurry up and be convenient," said Bank Mandiri Information Technology Director Timothy Utama in his official statement, Friday 15 December.

The stage of activating the Tap to Pay feature is also very easy. First, customers can open the Livin' application and select the Tap to Pay menu on the main page, then customers are directed to choose the type of debit card or credit used as a source of funds. If the customer has chosen the type of card you want to use, then by selecting 'Enable Cards for Tap to Pay' and entering Livin' PIN, the Tap to Pay feature has been successfully activated.

Not only that, the Tap to Pay feature also allows customers to transact wherever customers are, even abroad, because this feature is accepted on Visa and Mastercard networks around the world.

"The Christmas and New Year holidays will soon arrive, of course, many people are planning a long holiday to enjoy long holidays. For example, if they want to go domestically or abroad and want shopping or culinary, there is no need to bother changing cards, let alone bringing a card, just a tap away using Tap to Pay! Use a debit card fund source to Visa or Mastercard credit, everything can be done," added Tim.

In addition to making it easier for customers not to need to issue a card when transacting, this feature also plays a role in preventing sensitive information such as exposure date or CVV being exposed when transacting at cashiers. At the same time, this feature can avoid the risk of RFID skimming crimes, namely the mode of crime that can steal your card's personal data using an RFID scanner device.

Complementing contactless payment solutions other than QRIS payment, the convenience of the Tap to Pay feature can be felt directly by users through the Tap to Pay menu on the main page of the Livin' by Mandiri application. Customers only need to choose "Tap here to Pay" and bring their cellphone closer to the payment EDC machine using Tap to Pay successfully carried out.
