AP II Add Operational Hours At 5 Airports During Nataru 2024

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura II conveyed its readiness to welcome the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year (Nataru) holidays. One of them is regarding airport operations, out of 20 airports managed by AP II, five of which will be increased operating hours.

The five airports in question are Supadio International Airport, Pontianak; Minangkabau International Airport, Padang; Depati Amir Airport, Pangkal Pinang; Kertajati International Airport, Majelengka; and Raden Inten II Airport, Tanjung Karang.

The additional operating hours of the five airports will take effect from 18 December 2023 to 4 January 2024.

Wendo said that during the Christmas and New Year 2024 holiday period, it is estimated that the number of passengers at 20 airports managed by AP II is 4 million people. This number increased by 8 percent compared to the same period last year.

"In terms of corporations, if we look at the prediction or projected traffic in the 2023-2024 arrangement process, it is estimated that it will increase by 8 percent from the original year 2022 3.7 million passengers will be 4 million passengers," he said.

In fact, Wendo said that in December 2023, it is predicted that it will be the peak of AP II's largest passenger traffic throughout 2023, reaching 7.5 million people.
