JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia Group has prepared 120 units of fleet to serve passengers during the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 (Nataru) periods.

The seats provided in that period were more than 1.8 million.

Garuda Indonesia President Director Irfan Setiaputra admitted that he is very ready to serve passengers during the Christmas and New Year 2024 holiday period. Meanwhile, Garuda has set the Nataru 2024 period from 18 December 2023 to 8 January 2024.

"So when asked about Garuda's readiness, we are very ready. Because Nataru is our peak season, apart from Eid. So 102 planes we provide for this peak season. Furthermore, Irfan said Garuda Indonesia Group prepared 10,762 flights. This number is up 22 percent compared to the peak season of Nataru 2023.

"This is a combination of Garuda's flight as well as Citilink," he said.

Irfan also projects that the number of airplane passengers will increase by 30 percent during the 2024 Nataru period.
