The promo given is in the form of a maximum tariff of IDR 10,000 for the furthest tariff and comes into effect per day.

The Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT, Mahendro Trang Bawono, said that the maximum tariff of IDR 10,000 is valid during non-busy hours or off peak hour on weekdays Monday to Friday.

The time of non-busy hours on weekdays is set at the start of operating hours until 05.59 WIB, then at 09.00 to 15.59 WIB, and at 19.00 to the end of operating hours.

"Meanwhile, the tariff on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays is IDR 3,000 for the first 1 km, then each kilometer is charged IDR 700, and (the tariff) a maximum of IDR 10,000," Mahendro said in an official statement, Friday, December 1.

The latest tariff for the Jabodebek LRT was implemented after the issuance of the Decree of the Director General of Railways Number: KP-DJKA 266 of 2023 concerning the Third Amendment to the Decree of the Director General of Railways Number KP-DJKA 147 of 2023 concerning Promo Tariffs for People Transportation by Integrated Light Trains in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi Regions.

Mahendro said the Jabodebek LRT would also increase the number of trips to 200 trips starting December 1, 2023, which previously consisted of 160 trips per day.

With the increase in the travel schedule, continued Mahendro, the distance between trains or headways will be shorter and can serve more people.

"We hope that with the increasing number of Jabodebek LRT trips and the presence of this new promo rate can accommodate the needs of the community and can serve the community better and maximally," said Mahendro.
