WIKA Beton Targets New Contract Growth Of 5-10 Percent In 2024

JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) targets a new contract growth of around 5-10 percent by 2024.

Director of Marketing and Development of WIKA Beton Rija Judaswara said the contract growth target came from further projects that had been carried out by the company and spread throughout Indonesia.

"We have several project targets, they are spread from Aceh to Papua. So, next year according to data, we can grow at 5-10 percent of this year's acquisition plan or for new contracts it can be above IDR 7 trillion," Rija said in a Public Expose Live online, Thursday, November 30.

Rija said that the infrastructure sector is still the company's mainstay for the new contract target in 2024.

This is because this sector has contributed up to 67 percent of the company's revenue this year.

For Java Island itself, the company will continue a number of project works, such as the construction of toll roads, then a factory project in Karawang, and there are several bridge works.

"On the island of Java itself, we plan (a new contract) in the range of 45-50 percent or the same as this year," he said.

Next for Sumatra Island, WIKA Beton will continue a number of development work in the area, such as the JLKA Medan-Binjai project in North Sumatra and the Bayung-Lencir Tempino Toll Road in South Sumatra.

"On the island of Sumatra, we plan to get a new contract in the range of 24 percent," explained Rija.

Meanwhile, for the island of Kalimantan, the company will continue the project from the construction of IKN Nusantara, such as several toll road projects, buildings, as well as a ready-mix supply precast plan and installation services ranging from Rp300 billion to Rp400 billion.

"Then, of course, development will also touch the islands of Sulawesi and Papua, the range will be around 20 percent in the area," he added.
