WIKA Building Working On Two Projects At IKN, This Is The Development

JAKARTA - The WIKA group issuer, namely PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung Tbk (WEGE) reported the progress of a number of projects in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) which were worked on by the Company.

One of them is the project to build flats (rusun) for the state civil apparatus (ASN) at IKN which is part of the company's work, which so far only reaches 3 percent.

Director of Operations II Wika Akhmadi Tricahyono said that this figure is still far from the target set by the government, in this case the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Public Works for Public Housing (PUPR).

"Yesterday we were gathered all for solid coordination with the Director General. For the Paspampres (ASN residence) we hope that by the end of the year we can achieve that from the absorption of 40 percent or from the progress of around 25 percent," said Akhmadi in a Public Expose Live online, quoted Thursday, November 30.

Meanwhile, specifically for the construction of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves) Building, the progress is currently said to have reached 27 percent of the target set by the end of the year of 41.5 percent.

Related to this, Akhmadi said, his party is committed to speeding up the construction of the two projects at IKN to ensure construction can run according to the predetermined target.

"So, this is indeed quite challenging, so it requires very intense hard efforts and coordination. In fact, every morning I immediately interact with project implementers to ensure critical items and milestones can be achieved as we expected," he said.

It is known, the total contract value of the two projects at IKN reached IDR 2.2 trillion. In the future, continued Akhmadi, his party also hopes to immediately realize a number of new contracts at IKN.

"Currently, we are continuing to follow the progress of the process, collaborating with contractors to get projects that are running, such as airport projects (VVIP IKN) and others. We will continue to follow that, so that in the future we hope to add work packages in IKN," he added.

Meanwhile, based on data from the Ministry of PUPR, the progress of the construction of ASN Flats at IKN Nusantara as of October 19, 2023 reached around 1-2 percent.

Overall, 47 ASN-Hankam flat towers have a total of 2,820 units with a type of 98 square meters for each unit. The construction of flats consists of 31 flats for ASN with a total of 1,860 units.

Then, the Hankam Flats consist of 7 flats for National Police personnel and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and 9 flats for the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres) with a total of 960 units.

Each tower is 12 floors high, consisting of 1st and 2nd floors which are used for the podium of social facilities (fitness, public space, etc.), while the remaining 10 floors are for housing. Each unit is prepared for three bedrooms.
