Sido Muncul Will Distribute Dividends With Ratios Of Up To 90 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) is known to regularly distribute dividends to its shareholders. Most recently, the company revealed a leak of final dividends for the 2023 financial year with a ratio of up to 90 percent.

SIDO Finance Director Leonard said that in at least a year the company distributes dividends twice, which is scheduled for every November and April, with dividend payout ratios (DPR) ranging from 85-90 percent of net profit.

"SIDO is very diligent in distributing dividends, usually we distribute the dividend above 85 percent or above 90 percent. Even two years ago, if I'm not mistaken, we distributed it up to 100 percent," Leonard said in Public Expose Live, Wednesday, November 29.

As for November 20, 2023, SIDO has distributed interim dividends for the 2023 financial year worth IDR 12.6 per share or a total value of IDR 378 billion to shareholders. One of the basis for the distribution of SIDO interim dividends is net profit of IDR 448.10 billion in the first semester of 2023.

As a result, SIDO plans to distribute the final dividend for the 2023 financial year which is estimated to be distributed to its shareholders in April 2024.
