PT PLN (Persero) encourages the development of business actors, micro, small, and medium through the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) coordinated by the Muna BUMN House, Southeast Sulawesi.

Carrying the theme "Together with the Indonesian Coastal Strengthening", this activity was attended by the people of Napabalano Village, Muna Regency, who are a group of local fishermen.

General Manager of PLN UID Sulselrabar Moch Andy Adhaminordin through his statement in Makassar, Saturday, said that the Muna BUMN House synergizes with PT Aruna in terms of 'Sustainability Fishery and Awareness' MSMEs to train the community to process natural resources in the village into an MSME product, such as processing crabs and crabs into Sambal Karama Rajungan.

"As a state-owned company, PLN is committed to not only focusing on business activities, but on activities that have an impact on the community directly," he said.

This PLN BUMN house, including one of the TJSL Programs, is expected to have a good impact on the community, especially in terms of improving the community's economy and empowering the village community. One of the activities is training on natural resource management, as was done in Napabalano Village, Muna Regency.

"This training activity facilitates the community to increase the capacity of MSMEs in terms of business legality such as NPWP, NIB, PIRT, and halal certification," he said.

Through this program, he said, it is hoped that the fishing group of the people of Napabalano Village can build a separate ecosystem so that it will have a positive impact on the community.

"This activity is a continuation of the training carried out by the Muna BUMN House on May 30, 2023," he said.

"The training held by PLN Muna BUMN House in Napabalano Village is expected to have a good impact on the community, especially in terms of improving the community's economy and empowering the village community," he said.

Sitti Herliana, one of the training participants, said that she increasingly understands how to manage raw materials to produce useful products.

"After participating in the activities held by PLN Muna BUMN House, I understand how to process raw materials to produce a product and how to market products in the long term," he said.
