JAKARTA - The Center for Digital Industry 4.0 (PIDI 4.0) of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is collaborating with PT Schneider Electric for the development of human resources (HR) in accelerating the transformation of industry 4.0.

"This is clear evidence of PT Schneider's commitment to contribute to the development of industrial human resources through the implementation of training activities," said Head of the Industrial Human Resources Education and Training Center and Director of PIDI 4.0 Arnes Lukman in a written statement, quoted Thursday, November 9.

The scope of cooperation between PIDI 4.0 Kemenperin and PT Schneider Electric, among others, is the activity to increase awareness and training of industrial transformation 4.0 to industrial human resources as a form of the Capability Center pillar service at PIDI 4.0.

Arnes is optimistic that this collaboration will foster the enthusiasm of industry players to create the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.

"With continued collaboration and innovation, PIDI 4.0 is very confident that Indonesia will be able to compete in the world arena," he said.

"This is good news for all industry players. By increasing collaboration, networking and innovation, it will certainly trigger our enthusiasm and efforts to realize sustainability through digital transformation which can lead to economic growth in Indonesia," added Arnes.

He emphasized that his party continues to collaborate with industry players to be able to create sustainable innovations, especially those that can be implemented in the manufacturing industry sector.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Industrial Human Resources Agency (BPSDMI) of the Ministry of Industry Masrokhan said that in the current era of industry 4.0, his party must prepare quality, creative, and innovate human resources so that they have global competitiveness.

In order to achieve this target, the BPSDMI of the Ministry of Industry has held exhibitions and seminars with the theme "Achieving Sustainability through Digital Transformation" some time ago, which is in line with efforts to accelerate Indonesia's transformation towards industry 4.0.

"The concept of sustainability in various aspects of life is becoming a global trend. This sustainability practice prioritizes environmental maintenance for a better future on earth," he explained.

Masrokhan emphasized that regarding the application of the concept of sustainability, the Ministry of Industry has a green industry program to encourage the manufacturing industry sector in the country to utilize resources effectively and efficiently.
