JAKARTA - In order to realize the superior potential of the Banten community, as well as a form of commitment in supporting the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045, the Pre-Employment Card Program with STUDILMU, and Link Productive held a Banten Pre-Employment Alumni Meeting, last weekend.

This activity aims as a forum to bring together pre-employment alumni and have direct dialogue with stakeholders.

The Banten Pre-Employment Alumni Meeting with the theme "Pre-Employment Creation: Creativity of the State Children, The realization of Banten Superior Potential" was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Executive Director of PMO Prakerja, Denni Puspa Purbasari, and representatives from Bank Indonesia.

In front of the 150 participants of the Banten Pre-Employment Alumni Meeting, Sandiaga assessed that Pre-Employment is the right machine to improve the competence of human resources in order to go to Indonesia Gold 2045.

"Hopefully the achievement of Pre-Employment will increase in the years ahead, including increasing the number of recipients who take competency development training in the fields of tourism, economy, and creativity," Sandiaga said, quoted Monday, November 6.

He emphasized that the government supports the efforts of the Implementing Management of the Pre-Employment Card Program and the best educational institutions such as STUDILMU to continue to improve skills.

"This is our shared responsibility," he said.

Based on Pre-Employment data, since 2020-2022 there have been 777,555 Pre-Employment effective recipients from Banten, while in the 2023 Normal Scheme Program there are 75,039 Pre-Employment effective recipients from Banten.

There are five fields of training that are most in demand by Pre-Employment participants in Banten, namely sales and marketing, food and beverages, lifestyle, management, and engineering. Pre-employment in Banten proved useful because 22 percent of participants who previously participated in this program were listed as unemployed, but are currently working or entrepreneurial.

Executive Director of Pre-Employment Card Program Implementing Management Denni Purbasari stated that Pre-Employment has a goal to make Indonesia a developed and prosperous country in 2045 which is named the Indonesian Golden Generation.

"In 2045, even 100 years after Indonesia's independence. The number of productive people will be high. So we want Indonesia to be more prosperous and can leave the middle country category," he said.

According to Denni, the mindset of Indonesian citizens who consider training is not important because it only benefits certain parties is one of the obstacles that makes it difficult for Indonesia to develop. In fact, training or training is training to develop their abilities.

He reminded the younger generation of Indonesia to continue to improve their skills and competence so that later they do not become a burden for the generations above or below them or the sandwich generation.

If the position of the sandwich generation is hampered by productivity because they do not have skills, it can be an obstacle to optimizing demographic bonus opportunities. "This demographic bonus is the number of young people compared to the elderly and more young children, meaning that they bear a bigger burden," he explained.

Through Pre-Employment, it is hoped that this generation will gain skills so that it remains productive which will eventually be able to meet its financial needs so that it does not depend on the generations below it.

"Therefore, we must prepare from now on the generation of young people with skills, it is very important so that when the Indonesian population ages we are established. That is the key is that productivity is improved from today to all generations, from children born to adults," said Denni.

Therefore, Denni emphasized his commitment that the Pre-Employment does not stop at one point. Pre-Employment will continue to evolve so that it can become a boost for the skills of the Indonesian people.

"Currently, we are continuing to develop types of training according to the trend of the labor market, for example there are 12 trainings in the field of green skills, including carbon accounting, Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting, as well as artificial intelligence," he said.

The founder & CEO of STUDILMU, Berny Gomulya explained that the meeting of Pre-Employment alumni in Banten aims to socialize to Pre-Employment alumni that there needs to be a spirit of learning to move forward.

In today's era, job seekers have difficulty because it is not a small job field. There are jobs, but they are not in accordance with the skills of some individuals because they have never received informal learning.

"So for friends who feel they don't get job opportunities, maybe friends are still dependent on formal education, but don't fill in non-formal ones," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chief Learning Officer of STUDILMU, Hyacintha Susanti, stated that her party is committed to enlightening young people in the country according to the vision of "Enlightening Indonesia".

"We also hope that the Banten Pre-Employment Alumni Meeting can have a positive impact so that they can share the benefits and impacts they get as Pre-Employment beneficiaries," he said.

One of the Pre-Employment participants from Serang City, Banten, Mia Ramadhini said she was happy to be joining the Banten Pre-Employment Alumni Meeting.

"There are many new insights and knowledge that I got in this event. Both from Pre-Employment, Menparekraf, STUDILMU and also representatives of Bank Indonesia who teach how to transact safely in the digital era," said Mirna.

Through this event, it is hoped that more people, especially Banten, especially those who are a workforce, can participate in government programs that emphasize skilling, reskilling, and upskilling.

By preparing skilled young people with various training programs through Pre-Employment and training institutions that go hand in hand, it is hoped that the ideals of the Indonesian Golden Generation can be achieved.
