"We, in total, for 2023-2024, around 3,000 (construction workers) we will complete certification," he said.

Rachman said that his party had a special program related to the development of the construction workers.

"Still (we are continuing TKK training). We have a special IKN tagging program called, indeed it is focused on TKK going to IKN and those at IKN," he said.

He added, from the target of 38,000 TKK throughout 2023, his party has realized as many as 35,000 TKK.

"In 2023, we are targeting 38,000 TKK, that is to fill the gap, especially at the level of 5.6.7, the same as the level 2 maker. So, for addition at the level of 5.6.7," said Rachman.

"(It has been realized) there are 35,000 TKK," he added.

Previously reported, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the National Capital Infrastructure Development Implementation Task Force (IKN) revealed that until October 2023, the IKN Nusantara construction project had absorbed 12,123 construction workers.

"As of October, the IKN development project absorbed 12,123 construction workers," said the Head of the IKN Danis Infrastructure Development Implementation Task Force (Kasatgas).

Danis added that the composition of the workers was that as many as 2,765 construction workers came from Kalimantan Island and as many as 9,345 construction workers came from outside Kalimantan Island.

The total workforce for the IKN construction is mostly concentrated in the Cipta Karya project with a total construction workforce of 5,276 people or 46.3 percent.
