Pertamina International Shipping Receives A Prestigious Award At The 'Indonesia Best BUMN Award'

PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) is a state-owned company that managed to become one of the best at the "Indonesia Best BUMN Award" event.

At this event, which has been held for 7 years, PIS is one of the best as Best SOE & Subsidiaries with Top Financial Performance and Realizing Profit Growth Through Business Transformation.

The awards are included in the Logistics & Delivery Industry category.

"It is an honor for PIS to be the winner in the Indonesia Best Award 2023. This award is a motivation for us and all PIS officers to continue to give their best and advance the national economy and to make Indonesia proud in the global arena," said PIS Finance Director Diah Kurniawati when receiving the award, Wednesday, September 27.

Diah said, this event is an extraordinary thing and will be a motivation for the company and also all SOEs in contributing to the state and society.

"This event is an extraordinary event because this will be a motivation for us PIS and also for all other people to contribute more or think outside the standards that have been carried out so that we can provide better performance from time to time," he said.

He continued, Diah said that PIS as a family of Pertamina Group in the first semester of 2023 managed to record a 93 percent net profit increase compared to the same period last year.

"Continuing a 62 percent increase in profit in 2022, we are optimistic that this year we can score positive performance growth," he said.
