Minister Of Manpower Ida Fauziyah Hopes The Implementation Of The Vocational Training Festival For Industry 4.0

JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah hopes that the 2023 Vocational Training Festival can increase the knowledge and skills of prospective workers so that they can respond to competition in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era.

"Our workers must be able to respond to competition that comes from within the country and abroad and be able to compete in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era," said Ida Fauziyah as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 27.

He added that the success of vocational training will have a positive effect on reducing unemployment and on the progress of various industries.

Ida said vocational training is a form of implementative education. Through the vocational training program, you will produce workers with practical skills and are ready to work in various industries and entrepreneurs.

"With its various advantages, vocational training can be a quick solution to improve the quality of competence and competitiveness of Indonesian workers," he said.

Skilled workforce with high productivity is one of the keys to driving the potential industrial sector to create quality economic growth.

In addition, the development of superior human resources and skilled workers is in close contact with the world of education and training.

"Good quality of education will produce human resources with an advanced and productive view, so that they will be able to improve their standard of living," he said.

On that occasion, Ida also conveyed that the implementation of this year's National Job Fair provided 56,566 job vacancies from 135 companies, and 10 of them opened job vacancies for people with disabilities.

The event, which was held on 27-29 October 2023 at Hall A, Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, targeted 15,000 participants including job seekers from various educational backgrounds, alumni of vocational training, work training institutions, as well as the business world and the industrial world (DUDI).
