Antam's Gold Price Reaches Another Record, at IDR 1,123,000 per Gram

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk's gold price has again broken a new record. Antam's gold price rose by IDR 4,000 to IDR 1,123,000 per gram.

As is known, the previous highest record was at IDR 1,121,000 per gram. Where the previous record occurred on October 21, 2023.

Quoting from metalmulia data, Wednesday, October 25, Antam's gold buyback price also increased by IDR 6,000 to IDR 1,014,000 per gram.

The price of gold with the smallest size, namely 0.5-gram, is priced at IDR 611,500. Meanwhile, the price of 10-gram gold bars is priced at IDR 10,725,000.

For 50-gram gold bars worth IDR 53,295,000. Likewise, the 100-gram size also experienced an increase to IDR 106,512,000.

The most active gold contract for December delivery on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange closed down 1.7 US dollars or 0.09 percent at 1,986 US dollars per ounce.

Economic data released on Tuesday (24/10/2023) also weakened gold prices. Quoted from Xinhua, the S&P Global US preliminary manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) edged up to 50 in October from 49.8 in October 2022, while the services PMI rose to 50.9 from 50.1. Both were higher than analyst estimates.

- Price of 10 grams of gold: IDR 10,725,000

- Price of 25 grams of gold: IDR 26,687,000

- Price of 50 grams of gold: IDR 53,295,000

- Price of 100 grams of gold: IDR 106,512,000

- Price of 250 grams of gold: IDR 266,015,000

- Price of 500 grams of gold: IDR 531,820,000

- Price of 1000 grams of gold: IDR 1,063,600,000

Meanwhile, the price of silver at Antam rose by IDR 50. The price of silver is IDR 12,650 per gram.
