Sandiaga Ensures The Investment Climate Of Creative Economy Is Maintained In The Midst Of The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno ensured that the investment climate in the tourism sector would be maintained in the midst of a democratic party ahead of the upcoming 2024 general election (election).

"We ensure that investment stability in the parekraf sector is well maintained, please invest because our politics is very mature and wise," said Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga in The Weekly Brief with Sandi Uno monitored online in Jakarta, Monday, October 23.

Sandi, Sandiaga's nickname, admitted that he had instructed his ministry to maintain investment in the midst of political dynamics.

"We have also instructed the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to maintain neutrality, ensure that investment targets in the tourism sector are achieved, and are not affected by political dynamics," he said.

He considered that the 2024 election period would be an attraction because it could be used as a tourist attraction. Because, on February 14, 2024, the Indonesian people will carry out democratic parties simultaneously by prioritizing harmony.

"We hope this will go smoothly, friendlyly, and coolly. After February 14, we rejoined to build the country," he concluded.

For your information, until now, there have been two presidential candidates (candidates) and two vice presidential candidates (cawapres) in 2024 who have registered with the General Elections Commission (KPU).

The pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin (AMIN) became the first pair to register at the KPU as a presidential candidate (candidate) and vice president (cawapres) 2024 on Thursday, October 19, 2024.

Then, there are the pairs Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD who also officially register as presidential and vice presidential candidates ahead of the 2024 General Election.

Most recently, there was Prabowo Subianto who had just declared himself with Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election on Sunday night, October 22, 2023.
