DENPASAR - PT Pertamina (Persero) presents a MotoGP simulator that people in Denpasar, Bali and its surroundings can try to enliven a world-class motorcycle racing event at the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, NTB on October 15.

"We opened an ultimate experience box so that visitors can feel the sensation of driving like MotoGP racers," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Communications Manager for East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara Sunday Rahedi in Denpasar as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 7th.

The MotoGP simulator, which was imported directly from Italy, was placed at Bali Galeria Mall, Kuta, Badung Regency, on October 7-8 at 10.00-22.00 WITA.

The simulator was inspired by the garage of the workshop used by MotoGP racers.

To participate in the simulation, participants were free of charge and enough to register. Five participants with the best time records had the opportunity to get tickets to watch the Mandalika MotoGP live.

Apart from Denpasar, simulators were also presented in several other cities, namely, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Batam, Medan, Surabaya, Makassar, and Lombok.

Meanwhile, the presence of the simulator was greeted enthusiastically by visitors, one of which was a small tourist from India Vineet Mahajan and his father tested the simulator.

"I think it's easy, but it's also difficult, especially since my legs are short, so they fall a lot. I managed to collect three minutes and 30 seconds," he said.

Meanwhile, ahead of the MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit, the world's motor racing logistics needs began to be sent to Lombok both by sea and by air with an estimated cargo of around 525 tons.

Previously, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said the MotoGP series event in Indonesia was expected to be tight and interesting.

"So this MotoGP is the second time Indonesia has hosted and will be very interesting because at the end of the race season, the difference in numbers between the two highest racers is very close," Sandiaga said in a press statement at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (4/10).
