JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said that in the current era of digitalization, efficiency is one of the keys to boosting economic growth.

One of them is through the integration of ATMs for the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara).

This was conveyed by SOE Minister Erick Thohir at the Soft Launching Integration and New Face of ATM Link, at Post Bloc, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 26.

I received a report from 90,000 ATMs, 53,000 ATMs are Links, meaning Link is dominant. It's just a matter of how this Link system can continue to be developed, apart from integrating out existing products in SOEs, and if possible integration with products from other parties," said Erick.

"Because with this accessibility, it can accelerate our economic growth through our products," he continued.

In addition to the efficiency carried out in SOEs because of digitalization, continued Erick, companies must also encourage public services as part of economic growth.

One example is BNI Xpora, Erick said this program is a digital solution developed by BNI for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) who want to increase business capacity.

"For example, in BNI there is a program called BNI Xpora which means that if Link can be used for access to encourage Xpora explanation or can make transactions via Link, this can be accelerated," he said.

"In addition, this Link is also expected to be used for migrant workers abroad, accessible from MSMEs, KUR, and buying a millennial house where this Link can be one of the tools to meet these various needs," continued Erick.

Erick also appreciated today's integration as a breakthrough in accelerating the digitalization program. The Link integration program has been running for 2 years since its launch in 2021.

"This 2 years is an extraordinary acceleration. I hope this is an easy access, encouraging existing programs to improve services to the community," he said.
