JAKARTA - The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) together with the Cooperation Contract Contract Contractor (KKKS) Medco E&P Natuna Ltd succeeded in completing the Bronang Gas Project located in the South Natuna Sea Block B Natuna Sea Working Area, Riau Islands.

On stream of this project was marked by the completion of the start-up of production facilities at the Bronang Beach Off Pavilion on Wednesday, September 13, faster than the initial target.

Medco E&P President Director Ronald Gunawan said the Bronang Gas Project was part of the Bronang Square development project.

According to Ronald, the Bronang Pavilion (Bronang Platform) is a Green Platform that is operated by utilizing green energy sources from solar panels.

"We hope to continue to increase production, both from the offshore and offshore fields. The company is also grateful for the support of SKK Migas and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, as well as other stakeholders, so that this project can run smoothly," said Ronald Gunawan to the media, Monday, September 18.

Deputy for Exploitation of SKK Migas Wahju Wibowo expressed his appreciation for the completion of the Bronang Gas Project.

SKK Migas is optimistic that the success of the Bronang Gas Project can help increase national gas production.

"SKK Migas hopes that all KKKS will continue to make maximum efforts in developing new oil and gas fields to support the continued increase in national oil and gas production, as a concrete step in realizing the joint vision of 1 million barrels of oil per day and 12 billion standard cubic feet per day of gas by 2030," said Wahju.
