JAKARTA PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. (BNI) ensures that the Jabodebek LRT payment infrastructure is ready before officially operating tomorrow on Monday, August 28.

BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar said the company was proud because it was given the opportunity to be part of creating an integrated mode of transportation for the people in Jabodebek.

He said, the company believes that payment infrastructure is ready, especially in dealing with the high public interest in welcoming the Jabodebek LRT.

"Of course the public interest will be very high considering being in strategic locations ranging from residential areas to business areas. We make sure that BNI Tapcash is ready to maintain the quality of service so that the comfort of the community can be maintained," he said in a press statement today, Sunday, August 27.

Royke explained that BNI customers and non-customers can have a BNI TapCash Card at the BNI Branch Office, cooperation partners, minimarkets, officials at e-commerce, to all screen machines at TransJakarta busway shelters and commuterline stations.

"BNI Tapcash is also able to accommodate payment transactions in less than 2 seconds, easy to fill in balances and check balances through BNI e-channels and various applications, and can be filled with a maximum balance limit of IDR 2 million," he said.

Royke added that BNI and KAI will build various business ecosystems in order to increase the comfort of the community in using this mode of public transportation.

"Of course we together with KAI will continue to create various ecosystems and programs so that they can continue to increase the comfort of the people using this Jabodebek LRT," he said.

In the synergy between State-Owned Enterprises, BNI and KAI ensured that BNI Tapcash could be used at 18 stations, namely Dukuh Atas, Setiabudi, Rasuna Said, Kuningan, Pancoran, Cikoko, Ciliwung, Cawang, TMII, Kampung Rambutan, Ciracas, Harjamukti, Halim, Jatibening Baru, Cikunir I, Cikunir II, West Bekasi, and Jatimulya.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of SOEs held a visit to the readiness of the Jabodebek LRT at Dukuh Atas LRT Station, this weekend.
