Gold Price Drops to IDR 1,066,000 per Gram, Silver Follows

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk (Antam)'s gold price fell to IDR 4,000 at the start of the week. Antam's gold price is IDR 1,066,000 per gram.

Quoting precious metals data, Wednesday, August 9, Antam's gold buyback price also decreased by IDR 4,000 to IDR 945,000 per gram.

The price of gold with the smallest size, which is 0.5 grams, is valued at IDR 583,000. Meanwhile, the price of a 10 gram gold bar is priced at IDR 10,155,000.

For the size of a 50 gram gold bar worth IDR 50,445,000. Likewise, the size of 100 grams also decreased to IDR 100,812,000.

The most-active gold contract for December delivery on the Comex division of the New York Exchange slipped $10.10, or 0.51 percent, to close at $1,959.90 an ounce, after touching a session high of $1,972.80 and a session low of 1,956.50 US dollars.

Gold futures slumped USD 6.10, or 0.31 percent, to USD 1,970.00 on Monday (7/8), after rising USD 7.30, or 0.37 percent, to USD 1,976.10 on Friday (4/ 8), and fell USD 6.20, or 0.31 percent, to USD 1,968.80 on Thursday (3/8).

- 25 grams of gold price: IDR 25,262,000

- Gold price for 50 grams: IDR 50,445,000

- Gold price for 100 grams: IDR 100,812,000

- 250 grams of gold price: IDR 251,765,000

- 500 grams of gold price: IDR 503,320,000

- The price of 1,000 grams of gold: IDR 1,006,600,000.

Meanwhile, the price of silver at Antam fell by IDR 100. Silver is priced at IDR 12,500 per gram.
