ARRC 2023 Will Be Held in Mandalika August, Here's a Leak of the Ticket Prices

JAKARTA - The Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2023 is back in Indonesia after it was last held in 2018. ARRC 2023 will be held on 11-13 August 2023 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.

The 4th round championship is divided into four classes, namely Asia Superbikes 1,000cc (ASB 1000), Supersports 600cc (SS600), Asia Production 250cc (AP250), and Underbone 150cc (UB150). There were 90 participants who took part in the championship at this event, 19 of whom were young racers from Indonesia.

Marketing Director and InJourney Tourism Program, Maya Watono, said that InJourney as the SOE Tourism Holding and Supporters fully supports the 2023 FIM ARRC Idemitsu Racing event.

Furthermore, Maya said that this was also in line with InJourney's mission in order to strengthen the tourism ecosystem to accelerate national economic recovery, especially the Mandalika area as one of the five Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP).

Maya said the implementation of the ARRC was a commitment to continuing the legacy in an effort to maintain consistency in promoting the Mandalika SEZ as sports and entertainment tourism to increase regional economic turnover.

"Events like this are an effort to continue to revive the Mandalika SEZ which will ultimately have a multiplier effect on the local economy in the Mandalika SEZ area such as accommodation, transportation, MSMEs, job opportunities, and so on," said Maya, in a press conference at the Office InJourney, Sarinah, Jakarta, Thursday, July 27.

Furthermore, Maya said of course the exposure resulting from this event would increase the attention of both foreign and domestic tourists so that there would be an increase in tourist traffic visiting West Nusa Tenggara.

"Of course, we have to take care of this to create sustainable Mandalika SEZ tourism," said Maya.

Meanwhile, ITDC Director of Operations Troy Reza Warokka said that his party welcomed the presence of the 2023 Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.

"This event is a form of our commitment to advancing the tourism sector through international class events. The 2023 ARRC Championship will provide an extraordinary experience for spectators and can also introduce The Mandalika area as an attractive sports tourism destination," he said.

Troy hopes that the 2023 ARRC championship in Indonesia will be a major event for the world of motor racing and tourism in Indonesia. With support from various related parties, this event is expected to be a success and have a positive impact on the development of two-wheeled sports and the tourism industry in Indonesia.

ARRC Ticket Prices 2023

President Director of PT Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) Nusantara Jaya, Priandhi Satria revealed that to witness the ARRC 2023 championship live at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, ticket purchases can be made through the official website themandalikagp.com.

"We have opened the presale since last week," he said.

The details for ARRC 2023 tickets are divided into Premium Grandstand A and B categories with a price of IDR 100,000, Deluxe Class IDR 2,000,000, and Premiere Class IDR 2,500,000.

"The total that we will sell will be between 7,500 and 10,000 tickets. We are not sure yet, we are still calculating the pros and cons of bringing in spectators and opening the stands," he explained.
