JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) released as many as 78 athletes in the implementation of the National Sports Week (PORNAS) of the Indonesian Civil Service Corps (KORPRI) XVI 2023 in Central Java.

The KKP will participate in five sports, namely futsal, basketball, court tennis, table tennis, and badminton.

"My message is to uphold sportsmanship in the game, maintain the honor of the KKP, encourage each other and motivate each other to achieve the best achievements," said Trenggono.

Minister Trenggono encouraged all-out athletes to compete as a KKP team and uphold sportsmanship during the event. He hopes that KKP athletes will be able to come out as winners.

"In addition to the appreciation from the agency, of course I will give special appreciation to the athletes who will come out as champions," he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the KKP Korpri Management Board, Antam Novambar, said the purpose of implementing the KORPRI PORNAS was to improve the health, fitness, and excitement in improving the quality and productivity of work.

"Please pray that the activities will run well and the KKP athletes can give the best results," he added.

For information, KORPRI XVI PORNAS 2023 will be held in Central Java Province, on July 13-21 2023, with 101 contingents participating consisting of 63 ministries/agencies and 38 provinces by competing in 10 sports.
