JAKARTA - Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR Iwan Suprijanto accompanied by the Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN), and hundreds of construction workers celebrated their first Eid al-Adha in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), on Thursday, June 29.

A series of activities to celebrate Eid al-Adha were held at the Al-Ikhwan Mosque, which is located in the Construction Worker Residential Area (HPK), Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan.

The Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR, Iwan Suprijanto, hopes that workers can live comfortably in the HPK IKN area.

"The implementation of the 1444 H Eid prayer is the first at IKN and is attended by construction workers and local residents. After performing ied prayers, construction workers carried out friendly activities and ate together with the IKN Authority and IWAPI. Furthermore, the workers also cut the sacrificial animals as many as four cows and six goats.

"Alhamdulillah, all the registered IKN residents and the Eid al-Adha committee have received sacrificial meat. The committee also donated 100 kg of sacrificial meat to Sukaraja Village, as well as to eat together at the IKN HPK canteen," added Iwan.
