PLN Icon Plus Collaborates With Sacomtel LDA To Develop Information Technology Services In Timor Leste

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) through the subholding beyond PLN Icon Plus in collaboration with Sacomtel LDA from the Sacom Group to provide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services in Timor Leste.

Sacomtel LDA is a company in Timor Leste engaged in the ICT sector, and is a subsidiary of the SACOM Grupo company.

This collaboration was marked by the signing of the Head of Agreement (HoA) regarding ICT with Sacomtel LDA carried out by President Director of Sacomtel LDA, Abilio Araujo and President Director of PLN Icon Plus, Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi.

President Director of PT PLN (Persero), Darmawan Prasodjo said that the commitment initiated by Icon Plus with Sacomtel LDA is expected to continue to collaborate with each other.

"This collaboration is the first step for the two of them, hopefully this collaboration between Icon Plus and Sacomtel will not stop here, but will continue in real collaboration," Darmawan told the media, Friday, June 23.

President Director of PLN Icon Plus, Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi, said that the trust given by Sacomtel was a good opportunity as well as a challenge for PLN Icon Plus to provide the best service in Timor Leste.

"We would like to thank Sacomtel LDA for choosing PLN Icon Plus as a partner in the ICT service provider for the people of Timor Leste. It is an honor for us and hopefully this cooperative relationship can benefit each other," said Ari.

Ari added that the signing of the HoA regarding ICT was the first step in synergy with PLN Icon Plus and Sacomtel LDA to provide ICT services in Timor Leste.

"We will provide the best service support and hope that the cooperation built will open up opportunities for developing other ICT solutions to support the development of the Sacomtel LDA business in the future and for the benefit of the people of Timor Leste," Ari concluded.

In line with Ari, President Director of Sacomtel LDA, Abilio Araujo also welcomed the cooperation between the two companies from neighboring countries.

We cannot choose a neighbor. However, Timor Leste is neighboring Indonesia is a blessing from God. Including at this time, hopefully there will be cooperation between Sacomtel LDA and PLN Icon Plus from Indonesia to support the progress of the digital world in Timor Leste," concluded Abilio Araujo.

PLN Icon Plus and Sacomtel LDA are companies engaged in the ICT sector, both of which grew up as subsidiaries of a national electricity company, in this case, PT PLN (Persero) and Sacom Grupo.

PLN Icon Plus and Sacomtel LDA agreed to cooperate with Business to Business to provide Gateway Internet Services in Timor Leste.
