Knock! DPR Approves Ministry Of Finance's 2024 Budget Of IDR 48.3 Trillion

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has received approval from the DPR regarding the indicative ceiling of IDR 48.3 trillion for the 2024 period. This was stated by Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta.

"Alhamdulillah, the indicative budget ceiling of the Ministry of Finance for 2024 of IDR 48.3 trillion has been approved by Commission XI of the DPR RI," he said in a written statement on Wednesday, June 14.

According to the Minister of Finance, the agreement is proof of the synergy between the two agencies as partners. He also expressed his appreciation for the positive results achieved today.

"We express our gratitude for the extraordinary support and excellent cooperation between Commission XI and the Ministry of Finance," he said.

The state treasurer explained that Commission XI has always been a very important and key factor for the Ministry of Finance to be able to carry out the task of maintaining state finances.

"Various notes to improve programs, organizational management, and policies from the Ministry of Finance are also input as well as our priority focus," he said.

The Minister of Finance hopes that this excellent cooperation will continue to be maintained.

For information, the Ministry of Finance's indicative ceiling is part of state spending at the central level with other ministries/agencies (K/L). In the discussion of the 2024 RAPBN, it is known that next year's central expenditure is designed at IDR 2,400.7 trillion to IDR 2,631, 2 trillion.

Meanwhile, state spending through transfers to the regions (TKD) is IDR 815 trillion to IDR 845 trillion. Thus, the total expenditure in the 2024 budget year is at IDR 3,215.7 trillion - IDR 3,476.2 trillion.
