AP II Focuses On Six Points Of Facing Eid Backflow

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (AP II) Muhammad Awaluddin said that currently his party is focusing on six important points of operation and service aspects in dealing with the 2023 Eid backflow period.

Lebaran's backflow at AP II airport starts at D+1 or Monday (24/4/2023) to D+10 or Wednesday (3/5/2023) with an estimated peak on D+7 or Sunday (30/4/2023).

Awaluddin said that in the aspect of operation, AP II airport focuses on three important points, namely the allocation of aircraft parking, handling aircraft passenger baggage, and the availability of public transportation modes.

"AP II and stakeholders plan well that the arrival flow of travelers. Determination of the plane parking location, whether to close to the terminal to use the Garbarata (on block) or in the remote area must be well planned," he said, quoting Antara.

Meanwhile, from the service aspect, AP II airport also focuses on three important points, namely management or procedures related to flight delays, cleanliness of all public facilities and certainty of service in the departure process.

"Potential delays caused by various factors must always exist and there has also been a delay management from airlines and airport managers to anticipate this. This delay management must be carried out properly by all stakeholders, including according to regulations set by the Ministry of Transportation. Awaluddin also said that operational plans at all AP II airports had been prepared to anticipate high flight traffic on backflow.

"It has been instructed all AP II airports, including stakeholders, to prepare to welcome backflow. AP II Airport is ready to take travelers back to the city where they are active on a daily basis," he said.
