Regarding Expensive Ticket Prices, Garuda Boss: Not Rising

JAKARTA - PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk ensures that domestic assistance ticket prices do not increase during the 2023 Eid Transport homecoming season.

President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra, admitted that the ticket price was called expensive. In fact, he said, Garuda Indonesia has never raised ticket prices.

"About ticket prices, I also like to be confused why it is said to be expensive and I frankly also see in the news 'Be careful or get ready' (the ticket price) of transportation will increase ahead of Eid," he said at a press conference, in Jakarta, Friday night, April 14.

Furthermore, said Irfan, the public can seek information about the price of airplane tickets to the existing system. He said, Garuda consistently set flight ticket rates at the beginning, both before and before going home.

"You can check in the existing system, we have never raised prices. We are still selling prices like before, whether it's the season before Eid or not," he said.

Irfan said, Garuda has also prepared a variety of attractive promos during the 2023 Eid homecoming season. One of them is the 'Homecoming in Jakarta' program.

"So there is no (increase ticket price). In fact, we provide several promos like what I said Lebaran in Jakarta," he explained.
