Anticipating The Surge In Lebaran 2023 Homecoming, Pelita Air Adds 3 New Flight Routes To Sumatra

PT Pelita Air Service (Pelita Air) has just added three new routes, namely the destination of Jakarta-Palembang, Jakarta-Padang, Jakarta-Pekanbaru, and vice versa.

The three routes will be effective starting April 12.

President Director of Pelita Air Dendy Kurniawan said that the addition of these new routes is a form of Pelita Air's commitment to strengthen domestic route services to support air connectivity in Indonesia as well as to coincide with preparations for anticipating an increase ahead of the 2023 homecoming flow or Eid al-Fitr.

"The opening of these three new routes is also in anticipation of an increase in passenger spikes ahead of the holiday. Additional routes for Palembang, Padang, and Pekanbaru will complement the four routes that have existed before, namely Bali, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Balikpapan," Dendy said in a written statement, Tuesday, April 11.

The ticket price for flights for the Jakarta-Palembang route and vice versa starts at IDR 849,000. This route service is carried out every day.

Then, for the Jakarta-Padang route and vice versa, ticket prices start from Rp1,399,000.

This route service is also carried out every day.

Furthermore, for the Jakarta-Pekanbaru route and vice versa, ticket prices start at Rp1,349,000. This route service is carried out every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Dendy said, to book flight tickets for the three latest routes, it can be done through the company website and from online travel agents, such as Traveloka, Tiket.com, and others.

Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2023 in the April 12-18 period, said Dendy, his party will add 40 flights per week with a seat capacity of 25,920 per week.

Meanwhile, for the period 19-29 April, Pelita Air will add 26 flight services per week with a seat capacity of 30,600 per week.

"Hopefully Homecoming Comfortably With Pelita Air can make this holiday homecoming a story. In fact, it's not just going home, but also doing vaccinations in his hometown," he concluded.
