Daop 9 Jember Gives 20 Percent Train Ticket Discounts For Departure 14-17 April 2023

JEMBER - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational Area 9 Jember provides a discount of 20 percent for 500 homecoming tickets on three trains (KA) executive, business, and special economy class.

"The 500 discount homecoming tickets are for train departures for the April 14-17 period, 2023, out of a total of 31,300 discount tickets provided by PT KAI," said Acting Legal and Public Relations Manager Daop 9 Azhar Zaki Assjari as quoted from Antara, Monday, April 10.

Three trains that received discounts from the departure of the Daop 9 Jember area, namely the Ranggajati Train for the Jember-Cirebon connection, the Wijayakusuma Train for the Ketapang-Cilacap connection, and the Jember-Purwokerto Logawa train.

"People can buy discount tickets on April 9-13, 2023 for departures on April 14, 16, and 17, 2023, 150 discount tickets are available every day, while departures for April 15, 2023, 50 discount tickets are available," he said.

He said that the purchase of discount tickets can be made in the KAI Access application, the kai.id website, and all ticket sales channels that officially cooperate with KAI.

According to him, the 2023 Homecoming Discount program is held in order to provide alternative departure dates for passengers to return to their hometowns, so that the trip is not concentrated on dates adjacent to D Lebaran day.

"The distribution of ticket discounts is also in line with the Ministry of Transportation's program which appeals to the public to go home early to unravel the density of homecoming flows that occur ahead of Eid," he said.
