Taspen Ready To Present Affordable Residentials For ASN In North Sulawesi

PT Dana Tabungan dan Asuransi Pegawai Negeri (Taspen) (Persero) is ready to present affordable housing for active State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the North Sulawesi region as a commitment to improve welfare for participants, especially ASN.

This form of commitment is proven through Taspen's collaboration with the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi and Bank of North Sulawesi in the Provision Program for Decent and Affordable Residentials with payment tenors until retirement within the North Sulawesi Provincial Government.

"Thank you for the support from the North Sulawesi Provincial Government which was present today with 12 Regents/Mayors. Taspen together with the North Sulawesi Government and Bank SulutGo are committed to improving the welfare of the State Civil Apparatus," said Taspen ANS Kosasih President Director in a statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, April 5.

Kosasih said, based on a survey conducted, out of a total of 16,000 ASN in North Sulawesi, at least 6,000 ASN still do not have a house.

There are 75 hectares of available land, which can be built around 6,000 to 7,000 houses to meet these needs. A strategic, decent house to live in and can be developed because it is in a strategic location," said Kosasih.

Kosasih added that the program was in accordance with the initiative of SOE Minister Erick Thohir, who was a breakthrough in housing payments because it was the only financing that allowed ASN to pay home payments since being active until retirement, approximately 30-40 years.

The program is expected to make it easier for young ASNs who live far from their workplaces to get housing close to their place of duty.

The signing of the agreement was carried out by Kosasih, North Sulawesi Governor Olly Dondokambey, and North Sulawesi Regional Development Bank President Director Gorontalo (Bank SulutGo) Revino M Pepah along with staff at the 6th floor Auditorium of Building A PT TASPEN (Persero) Head Office, Jakarta, by implementing health protocols.

The ASN Residential Program is the provision of housing in the form of landed houses and flats to provide opportunities for ASN to get decent and affordable housing with alternative financing with a long-term tenor period.

In the program, active ASN can make installments even up to retirement. Cooperation with Bank SulutGo also allows ASN to actively get credit with very affordable installments, starting from IDR 1 million.

North Sulawesi Governor Olly Dondokambey said the North Sulawesi Provincial Government appreciated the ASN Residential Program from Taspen in collaboration with Bank SulutGo for housing credit payments.

"This is a residence without a down payment, and this is the hope of the people of North Sulawesi and ASN Provinces throughout Indonesia. As many as 65 percent of ASN do not yet have a house, and if this goes smoothly, Taspen is really present in the community. Thank you for Taspen's participation in North Sulawesi," said Olly.

The socialization and marketing activities of the ASN Residential Program will be carried out together with Bank SulutGo as an alternative financing provider with a payment tenor period until ASN enters retirement.

The hope is that the public and ASN in North Sulawesi are interested in the ASN Residential Program and have the opportunity to take advantage of facilities that will make it easier for ASN to own a house.

Previously, this program had been carried out by Taspen in Surakarta City and would gradually cooperate with various other Regional Governments in helping ASN throughout Indonesia to own a house.
